Minute 1: Your Favorite Generation

This is really hard, but honestly I think I love the second generation more. But the first generation will always be my first love, because.. well, it's the first.

Minute 2: Your Favorite Character G1

CASSIE! I love cassie. "She's thin, she's blonde, she says 'wow' a lot"

But Maxxie comes second :)

Minute 3: Your Least Favorite Character G1

Michelle. I like her, but she's incredibly self centered. Actually Sketch. I hated her.

Minute 4: Your Favorite Character G2

Effy. She's so complicated. I love all the depth. Her craziness. not to mention she's gorgeous.

Minute 5: Your Least Favorite Character G2

This is difficult, because in the end, I love all the characters. I guess..

I hated Katie Fitch in the beginning because .... she was just so horrible to her twin sister and to Effy. Or I don't really like Pandora for some reason. So annoying

Minute 14: A Scene That Makes You Happy

So many. I love the scenes between Effy and Tony. Like the one when...

Effy: Why bother... caring.

It just shows how close they are and I love their relationship.

Series 2 Generation 1. I loved how Sid went after Cassie in New York and how Tony bought the ticket for Sid and their bromance and Maxxie and his boyfriend and Chris' funeral was brilliant and sad and I just love that finale.

Minute 17: Your Favorite Skins Friendship.

Okay well from G1 it's Maxxie and Tony. I liked how Maxxie was there for Tony after the accident.

And from G2 it's got to be Freddie and Cook. No explanation needed.

Minute 18: Your Favorite Skins Romance

Sid and Cassie.

James, Maxxie's boyfriend. I like him. He's cute with Maxxie.

Paddy Cook. Cook's little brother is just so cute and british just like Cook.

Minute 23: The Character That is Most Like You

I'm going to say Effy.

Reasons:

- I've been through similar issues that she has

- My parents had a horrible divorce

- I can relate to what she was feeling towards the end of S4 (to a lesser extent)

- I have some of the bad qualities that Effy has.

I love how it's so down to earth. Skins is so different from any other show. It doesn't shield viewers from life, it truly displays the hardships of being a teen. Not to mention all the actors are hot, they've go accents and dry british humor.

Skins

I have honestly loved Skins since the very 1st Generation (picture above) back in 2008. You just don't get television shows like this so raw, edgy and down to earth in North America... I mean come on! All we can produce are vampires, sparkly vampires.

Recently though, I have gotten A Stranger, obsessed with it (took her long enough) and she can finally see what she's been missing out on.

Now for those of you who have no idea what Skins is about, it's pretty much about a close group of british teens going through sixth form (North American equivalent of Gr. 11/12). Nothing special right? CW shows like One Tree Hill, 90210, and Gossip Girl go through that.

So what makes Skins so amazing? Well for starters, for me British accents are sexy and so the fact that they all have British accents. Second of all, in Britain, they don't censor anything! Drugs, swearing, sex, we know most teens do it.. so why don't we see it on CW shows? On Skins you get the whole deal. The show deals with failing grades, partying hard, divorce, overdoses, homosexuals, first loves, experimental drugs in a realistic way since a lot of the writers are actually in sixth form themselves. That's another factor that separates Skins from normal TV shows. For most actors Skins is their first acting job, and most of them are 16- 18.. the right age to be in sixth form unlike CW shows where the actors are in their twenties playing high schoolers.

Skins is broken down into Generations with each Generation (2nd Generation above) getting two seasons. I love and hate that they do this. Love it because it's realistic that each cast gets 2 years through sixth form and hate it cause I always fall in love with the characters and then they leave and we never get to see them again.

Sad thing is America MTV is making an American version of Skins and I know its just going to be horrible.

So overall, Skins is mind blowing amazingness, america sucks, don't watch this show if your 12, watch this show if your over 12, and I'm getting sick of vampires.

We are in planning class right, and have just taken the career matchmaker test. Here are our most interesting results:
