Plain and simple. Astrangerelegance loves them some studded stuff.
Along the lines of this studded stuff...
We're all a bit stranger here, some of us are just better at hiding it, that's all.

BONGIORNO TUMBLR
Yes, we are on tumblr, now.
Follow us at astrangerelegance.tumblr.com
To be clear this is still 100% our main blog which we will continue to post on. We decided to get a tumblr as a way of showing things we draw inspirations from and what we aspire to do. So, if you're interested in what goes on in our minds, know that it has been made with you in mind. Aw.
Mucho love,

Black Swan
This picture brings back memories of cowering into our seats and how numb our minds were after.
Well, first off, do not watch this movie with a parent. Also anyone under the age of 16 might not be able to handle it.
That out of the way, it was a good movie, great even. It was just as, if not more, thought provoking as Inception. Extremely dark and twisted, it was so much more than expected. It kept you wondering what was reality and was like walking through a hallway of mirrors, you couldn't differentiate between what was real and what wasn't.
The acting as well was amazing. Natalie Portman plays, Nina, a very fragile and sheltered ballet dancer who lands the lead role in the company's production of Swan Lake. Although she is perfect in the part as the white swan she lacks the sensuality and ability to let go, to portray the black swan, the white swan's evil twin self. Mila Kunis plays a fellow dancer who Nina is convinced is out to get her. But is it all in her head?
We would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a thought provoking film and has the emotional maturity to handle it. It is not for the faint of heart or the weak of stomach.

Velvet, My Dear Friend

Christmas shopping and inspiration.
Downtown on a saturday, needing to shop for a whole bunch of people and where are the first places we go? Holt Renfrew and the like. Walking through the pristine aisles, looking at all the beautiful clothes and wishing we had a bigger paycheck (if one at all).
We thought we would share with you some of the things that we saw that inspired us. We tried to be covert while snapping these pictures which resulted in some blurry photographs but there were a couple we could use. You'll notice that there are only shoes. We're going through a phase.
